Advisors

In 2003, the Spannocchia Foundation Board of Directors voted to approve the formation of a group of Spannocchia Foundation Advisors to assist both the Spannocchia Foundation and Castello di Spannocchia in matters relating to future activities in forestry, conservation research, fundraising, landscape preservation, and collaborative efforts with other organizations. Each Advisor was chosen based on professional expertise and interest in helping to guide the future of Spannocchia. Following is a list of the 8 Advisors who are currently working with us to plan for the future.

Michael Gelsanliter – Co-Leader of the Il Giardino Segreto project and Reiki Master, Portland, ME

Charlie Headington – Professor of Religious Studies, University of North Carolina – Greensboro, and Earth Matters: Consulting for sustainable living and edible schoolyards.

Linda Hogan – former Executive Director, The Irish Heritage Center, and fundraising whiz, Portland, ME.

Gil Latz – Professor of Geography, Portland State University, Portland, OR

Jim Levitt – Director, Program on Conservation Innovation at Harvard Forest; Research fellow at Rappaport Institute for Greater Boston at John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. Belmont, MA
