This reference form is being requested on behalf of an applicant to the Spannocchia Farm Internship Program at the Tenuta di Spannocchia in Tuscany, Italy for a three-month-long session. The Farm Internship Program includes a combination of physical labor (farm work and maintenance); education and commitment to issues of regenerative agriculture, food, conservation, and sustainability; study of Italian language, history, and culture; and local field trips. Spannocchia is a close-knit community in a rural environment, 20 kilometers south of the city of Siena. While travel is possible on the weekends, participants spend most of their time on the farm.
