Stories & Songs: A Writing Retreat In Italy
Stories & Songs Writing Retreat is an immersive and generative retreat that offers generative workshops, individual feedback, and a cross-genre look at the shared elements between stories and songs: musicality, lyricism, rhyming, We will also explore creativity, craft, and process. Choose a track: Storyteller or Songwriter. We’ll host a Welcome & Arrivederci Receptions, three “Open Mic” to share what you’re creating at Spannocchia, a “Writer’s Excursion” to Siena, insight into Vendemmia and possibly a pasta making demonstration. Carolyn Flynn - (MFA CNF) Memoirist, novelist, essayist, the author of Boundless, a becoming-of-age memoir pub. February 2024. The memoir was long-listed for the 2021 Mslexia International Memoir Prize, the 2022 First Pages Prize. Writing coach at The Story Catalyst.
